The Capital Region Food Council of New Brunswick is a collaborative network uniting diverse stakeholders and  knowledge keepers around a shared vision for strengthening our region's food system.

Through partnership, knowledge sharing, and coordinated action, we work to improve food security and strengthen local food systems that support healthy, thriving communities.

We help identify opportunities, address challenges, and advance collective solutions that build a more resilient, equitable, just and sustainable food future for the region.

CRFC is a regional initiative that brings together the municipalities and local governments of the Capital Region, alongside the Wolastoqey communities of Sitansisk, Welamukotuk, and Bilijk. Together, we are creating opportunities to improve food security, strengthen local agriculture, support healthy communities, and build a resilient food system for current and future generations.

Communities We Serve

The Capital Region Food Council proudly serves municipalities, rural communities, and the three Wolastoqey Nations throughout New Brunswick's Capital Region.
